Day 1: We first arrived and checked into our hotel. Immediately it was time to soak up some much needed sun. On top of that, we had our first (of many) mango shakes. DELICIOUS! The great thing about traveling from the United States is the price difference.
Our hotel was not the best ever, but there was a pool right outside of our room. It was a nice layout, but the ledge to come back to the room definitely needed improvement.
Day 2: Today we started our day early. We took a long, bumpy motortrike ride to Spider House, a scenic restaurant that overlooked the ocean. It was an adventure to get there, and we also had another mango shake.
The sun wasn't hot and blaring so we felt a nice cool breeze. There was a nice floating deck atop the surface of the ocean, where we watched people backflip and dive into the water.
Day 3: We arrived early in the morning to get ready for our side excursion to Ariel's Point, a privately owned island that featured many amenities:
Free lunch and unlimited alcohol
Snorkeling
Cliff diving
Canoeing
Ariel's Point is privately owned, so there were only a few people allowed on the island at a time. This made the trip more enjoyable because it wasn't crowded at all.
